 Michael Farley - CEO
Born in Indianapolis, Indiana and raised in Southern California, Michael has been involved with music for over thirty-five years, chiefly playing the guitar. During the 1970s Michael spent several years touring with rock bands throughout the country; electric guitar was his main instrument. Upon returning to Southern California, he turned his efforts toward acoustic guitar, and it was at this time that Jesus Christ became central to everything in his life. This fact has not changed in over thirty years, and it is certainly reflected in his songs and devotional writing. He gained a very strong appreciation for God's grace and love, and decided to devote all his energies, musical and otherwise, to honoring his Maker in life's pursuits.
After obtaining a BA degree from Los Angeles Bible College, Michael became increasingly involved in teaching guitar and other stringed instruments. Eventually his involvement in the music business led to ownership of his own music store, Michael's Music. It was during this time that his inventiveness became more acute, and fresh creative ideas began to flow.
Currently Michael works from his office in Gold Hill, Oregon where his goal is to create essential new ideas for musicians. Inventing new musical products, leading worship, helping others to develop a heart for worship, writing weekly devotionals, and spending time with family are the driving forces in his life. Michael and Cathy Farley have been married for over thirty years and have four children.
 Dustin Cheatham - Manufacturers Representative
Dustin Cheatham began representing Farley's Musical Essentials and Mighty Bright products world wide along with Michael Farley in January 2009. His experience includes successful, world-wide marketing of the Guitar Wheel, with his father Dennis Cheatham, inventor and founder of Music Master Publishing. Dustin he is currently V.P. of Sales & Marketing. Dustin has been involved in the music industry with MMP since 2005 holding multiple positions such as Director of Marketing & Sales, Artist Relations, Graphic Arts and Design, and Advertising Consultant. Dustin enjoys working in the music industry because he's always loved music and people. He enjoys seeing performances, attending trade shows, and meeting others. He loves singing, songwriting, and playing guitar and harmonica.
